Workshop on Recent Advances in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Bogazici University, Turkey on June 20th, 2017
Dr. Maria del C. Valdés Hernandez and Dr. Esin Öztürk Işık effectuated a half-day workshop on 'Recent Advances in Magnetic Resonance Imaging' on June 20th, 2017 to discuss several recent advances in hardware and software, including MR compatible devices, novel data acquisition protocols, and image analysis and processing for diagnosis, follow-up and survival prediction of diseases. This half-day workshop aims to disseminate and discuss new ideas and related research on the theme, done not only at the Bogazici University but on other centres, specifically in Istanbul University (Turkey), Acibadem University (Turkey), Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), and University of Edinburgh (UK). The workshop was sponsored by the Royal Society through the Newton Mobility Grant Scheme. Attendees from diverse backgrounds were from the Informatics, Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences (CCBS), QMRI Centre for Reproductive Health,Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies (R(D)SVS), and The Roslin Institute of the University of Edinburgh, the Institute of Biomedical Engineering of Bogazici University, and the Department of Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia."
